Please Read About Me
I believe one should want to know as much as you can about the people you work with. Toward that end, here are some highlights of my past and present experience:
Prior to moving to Redding in 1983 from the Bay Area, I was a Columbia Records Recording Artist and Studio Musician in the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s (talk about a great time to be involved in that!). In 1974, I became a Professional Firefighter for the City of Alameda. I truly believe this is one of the noblest professions there is.
While growing up, I spent a good portion of each summer near Minersville in Trinity County. Actually, this started in 1946 (I was 6 months old) and continued until 1964, when Trinity Lake covered Minersville with about 300 feet of water. For as long as I could remember, I always wanted to move up here!
In early 1983, the urge to move north translated into the formation of a Venture Capital Company for the development of Hydroelectric Power Projects in the North State. I took an early retirement (after almost 10 years) from the Fire Department and my family and I moved to Redding.
I have been in the Construction Industry in the North State for the past 24 years, designing, building and owning projects varying from Custom Homes and Multi-Million Dollar Hydroelectric Power Plants to a World-Class Fly Fishing Resort. I was responsible for land acquisitions, licensing, permitting, water rights, design, construction, and the operation for all of these projects. The projects always involved Real Estate transactions, from property purchases to the sale of the completed projects and properties.
After so many years as the designer, builder, and the buyer and seller, it was a natural transition for me to represent those needing expert assistance in the Real Estate market.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this, and to let you know that I will always be available to assist you with your Real Estate needs.
